The Computer Art Research Laboratory (Medialab) of the University of Brasilia (Brazil) in association with the Electronic Arts Research and Experimentation Centre (CEIArtE) of the National University of Tres de Febrero (Argentina) and Concordia University (Canada), invite you to participate in the 3rd international conference Understanding Visual Music - UVM 2015.
The UVM 2015 international conference is an academic forum devoted to a branch of study known as visual music. During this three-day conference, the participants will have the opportunity to share research and creation outcomes as well as to discuss concepts, current trends, technological innovations, and creativity aspects.
Participants will also have the possibility to show their artistic works. UVM 2015 also aims to provide the opportunity to facilitate dialogue among the participants, motivating future developments and international collaborations.
A Computer Art Exhibition will happen during the event, featuring works by guests artists. This exhibition will be hosted at Bank of Brazil Cultural Center (CCBB) and involves interactivity issues, space time, and interfaces between music and image.
The conference activities will take place on June 10th, 11th, and 12th at the University of Brasilia, and the artistic activities will be hosted at Bank of Brazil Cultural Center.
UVM 2015 will include sessions with paper presentations, roundtables, panels, workshops and visual music concerts.
